Tension Headache Treatment
Tension type headache is treatable. Stress and inclination to stress is common amongst patients. Also, almost all patients suffer from neck hernia or loss of cervical lordosis. However these are not the causes of the headache. Stress just increases the pain and spasms on neck muscles cause the loss of lordosis.
Neuromuscular blockers and antidepressants used in conventional therapies are effective to some extent but since drugs cannot eliminate stress from our lives nor can change our personality, we cannot get rid of tension type headache without fixing the underlying reasons.
Gokmen Approach detects the interference fields causing muscle spasms on neck-nape area for this treatment. Throat infections experienced during childhood or tooth decays may cause these spasms by sending negative signals. Thus, these interference fields are fixed by working together with dentists and applying neural therapy.
Most tension type headache patients have problems on their temporomandibular joints. Unfortunately, specialists of this field are scarce in Turkey but it is possible getting great results by applying a proper bruxism (clenching teeth) and joint treatment by a prosthetics and gnathology specialist, in addition to neural therapy.
